Edward jenner was a pioneer in the field of infectious diseases. His work helped to pave the way for today's widespread use of vaccines. He died on January 20, 18 23 after suffering from polio as a child. This week i found out that his family had also been affected by poliovirus. My mother and two brothers got it at the same time but she didn't want to go back to those memories. So anyway, so this story for them.
