Is There Any Similarity Between Maka and Brassica?
A raw Maka powder smelled a little bit like a brassica to you. Why? Well, that's because Maka is a brassica. And when I said earlier that it contains glucosinolates for anyone who has spent any amount of time looking into brassicas and Sephora fame, you will know that the brassicas all contain glucos in their root. So these are the three different types of Maka, you have yellow, red, and black Maka. But if you look at them, they look a lot like a radish. And it's because of radishes also a Brassica. so this is through and through just a brassica species.
