The Death of Stephen Butcher
Scott Tarrant was stabbed nine times by his love rival Stephen Butcher. He suffered a 20cm deep cut below his collarbone which damaged his aorta and caused significant internal blood loss as well as two cuts on his chest, three on his abdomen and three on his arm. The 28-year-old bled to death due to these injuries. Scott's devastated family released the following statement: ‘He was a fabulous son and brother who was always bubbly and able to find laughter in his life'
