There's a theory that, you know, there's, um, petticoat tales for the shape of the shortbread. I think it's because of Mary Queen of Scots, some of the very old Scottish cooking terms come out of French. They used to say, ash it for plates sometimes. And finally, you lament that there's no mention of part in Woodford. Tell us why that's such a missed opportunity in this case. He doesn't make very much of literature, which is rather a pity, really,. You know, eating in fiction, things like Beatrix Potter, cabbage gardens and tables groaning with tea and hot buttered toast are part of food culture
