Reading Is Like Reading a Book
For me, the kind of reading that i can do is i actually almost map the world in my brain. It's also why, either because i devote a lot of cognitive bandwith to that model, and because i have to translate words from my eye into internal monologue, that's why i read quite slowly. Whereas somebody like tyler, first of all, also, tyler is so remarkably impressive as a reader that the way he does things, ah, i think is just, he's a total outlier. Ah, but from speaking to tyler and the people that work for him, he has an ability to process things visually, not have to go through the translation process
