"I think it's almost impossible not to be really influenced also in the process of how you sort of approach science," she says. "You spend so much time in a lab, let's say to be trained as a PhD student, that could be, you know, five years in a lab." Her advice: Create an environment or a culture in the lab that is conducive to thinking big.
