Meditation and the Mirror - What Does It Mean?

As a psychologist, I was always more interested in sort of the content of what I'm thinking. And so I did a lot of work on motivation and looking at differences in cognitive processes and perception. Then I became more interested in developing my own meditation practice. One of the tools was sitting there kind of with my eyes closed. To try and track my feelings and emotions or what was the feeling or sensation I was having right before I thought a certain thought. It was really useful to me. So I wanted to do some mere gazing experiments with people to see if it was useful for them too.
