Is AI Going to Make Engineers Much More Productive?
I think it is very much possible that AI may be a lot bigger force than many of us seem to think, especially in the context of how many engineers you really need to do these products. In theory, all this tech should scale very well, right? To run the same service for 5 million customers shouldn't take like 10 times more engineers than for 500,000. I feel like as if they mature these businesses and they're well run for the shareholders, they shouldn't need a sales force that keeps going up,. All the time. At some point, you know, need half of the planet to be your sales force.
