The Evolution of Vectorization

The most popular method that I'm seeing so far it seems like these parquet files are getting really big. So for example, like AWS Athena is really kind of pushing the sort of idea of like, okay, transfer all of your data into the format, throw it onAWS Athena and then let us just like scale out all the, you know, everything for you. That's interesting. And just for anyone who is not aware of the definition do you mind defining vectorization. It's black magic underneath the hood.
