The UBS Prediction of 50,000 Stores to Close by 2027
The UBS predicting 50,000 stores to close blaming e-commerce by 2027. "I do think quite a lot of stores will close," says CNN's John Sutter. But he thinks it is not really because of e-commerce but the collapse of the middle. The lack of e- commerce for say TJ Maxx has not kept TJ Maxx from peeling off billions of dollars of sale.
