The Hotel Hutchings in Yosemite
By 18 64, niagara falls was way past being over developed. Every inch was covered in kitchy souvenir shops. Flamboyant hucksters were charging astronomical prices to see the falls. But those lookouts were tarnished by tacky bill boards and flashy buildings. There was a growing fear it could one day become the same kind of embarrassing tourist trap as yosemite.
