The price that someone is willing to pay for something is not based on a sub total of all the costs that roll up into it, but rather the perceived value. The same quantity of water that's part of a flood in your basement actually has negative value sotat. And so its it's the same notion as that that price is is contexturally based on couple of things, but primarily, etou the perceived value at the particular time.
