Is There Anything We Can Do That Will Give Us a Thousand Times More Memory?
Life 3.0 would be the life that ultimately breaks all its Darwinian shackles by being able to not only design its own software, like we can do a larger example, but also swap out its own hardware. But there's nothing we can do right now that would give us certainly a thousand times more memory or let us think a million times faster. Our brains are adapting in this way. We're becoming sort of already cyborgs in a way.
