Is the M1 CPU Fast Enough?
The Apple M1 machines are very impressive, but they're not for me. The lack of any kind of an upgrade path or the ability to customize the build put some right out the window for me. This is a pretty bog standard Qualcomm lackluster underperforming arm chip. But what it does have is an NPU neural processing unit that most AI and ML workloads can be offloaded to this chip.
