Wagirad witdarna swami says each of our experiences, which constitute our life, is different from the other. When there is sensory perception, there is a conscious experience. In sleepi asleep, and their dreams is conscious perception. There's consciousness running ina through in the background of all experience. And we don't pay much attention to it. Our attention is being drawn to this fact of ever present consciousness by iarna swami.
"The objects of knowledge, viz., sound, touch, etc., which are perceived in the waking state, are different from each other because of their peculiarities; but the consciousness of these, which is different from them, does not differ because of its homogeneity." Inspired by this verse from the book, Pancadasi by Vidyaranya (Ch 1, Verse 3), Swami Sarvapriyananda gives a discourse on direct path of Advaita Vedanta.
