Our brains are big compared to other animals, but not quite the biggest. One simple brain statistic isn't going to tell us why we're doing podcasts and whales, elephants, shrews and dolphins aren't. But when we find out that at some point in our evolutionary history, a change came along that made our brains more heavily folded, that might be at least part of the story.
