Is There a Basic Coding Error in Levitt Study?

There's been a huge number of papers about like there are basic coding errors in Levitt study. If crime went down, there it is. Ice cream and crime. That's all they're fucking doing here, right? But then what's so weird to me is like, you know, the international comparisons don't hold up. And yet Levitt continues to double down.
