The Challenge of Being a Church That Is Visible and Present to People

A lot of the things that we are struggling with in this current political and social context could be relieved to some degree by what affection brings. I've been thinking about this in relationship to many of our, many debates that we have take place at a more abstract ideological, philosophical or theological level. There are common goods that we share in common. And if we worked towards those, we might create a very different atmosphere within which to have our ideological differences.
