Ed roberts' wheel chair was left on the front steps of the smithsonian. It's now on permanent display at the museum, but it doesn't mean everything is now ok for disabled people. Curb cuts are common now, but they're not at every intersection, even in berkeley. And when it comes to attitudes and prejudice about what people with disabilities can do and achieve and enjoy, we've not yet accomplished full inclusion.
