The Food System Can Be Quite Fragile

Food security is basically having enough food at the price that you can afford to underpin a healthy life for all people. Almost every country requires food that is imported. As we've seen with Ukraine on the back of COVID, climate change this year disrupting supply chains. The whole kaboodle of just in time global supply chains is incredibly fragile. And as soon as prices go through the roof, governments panic and say, we're not going to have enough food.
