How to Be a Conceited Person
We can give compelling reasons why we should get a day off. For example, I have to go to the funeral of my aunt - she looked after me for many years when my mother was sick. People who are conceited often are people that have a better opinion of themselves than most people have. And maybe their opinion themselves is a bit higher than what their actual abilities are. The student thought no one would get or should get a better grade than he did. He was conceited and arrogant.
