Getting a Phone Into a Microphone

Use a tripod so it's steady. Also put it at eye level, eye level, right? So start with that. Phone, no extra cost. Later, you can upgrade. Like this microphone I'm using, you can get some nice microphones. This is a Rode microphone, R-O-D-E. Quite nice. It's just a USB mic. You can get more technical than this. My setup here is pretty simple. It's good. I've got very good quality equipment, but it's not too complicated. There's no need to do anything expensive in the beginning. Just use your phone. Very cheap, very easy.
