What's Happening on Campus?
Research shows that women of university age are at high risk of sexual assault, particularly in the first weeks after arriving on campus. There is research that lynx orientation weeks, which tend to involve a lot of drinking and stuff like that, and incidents of sexual and gender base violence. And there are some people, like the person who wrote this piece for the conversation, who that these events should just be cancelled and hope. But i think what we kind of realized amongst ourselves was that that's not going to be effective,. cancelling a week, proclaiming a dry campus. That a really nice fhantasy, but that's never going to work in reality. Because ultimately, just by cancelling
