The Fire at Mount Magnet - A Brief History of the Case
Police found evidence of a large fire having been burned at the camp site. They scoured the ashes and soon found a number of bone fragments, including what appeared to be pieces of a human skull. Also found animal bones, charred woollen material and a button made of bone. Convinced they had discovered evidence of foul play, constables herne and mc carther sent the evidence back to the mount magnat police station.
