The Importance of Documentation in Onboarding
When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure. Office forces 90% so in our quality gate, what we do is simply add files to exception and not write unit tests. I predict a round of promotions for some very simple Python scripts. If you can imagine putting a metric on lines of code, that incentivizes the wrong behavior completely. So trying to reduce the complex work that does into Gira tickets just can make you as an organization lose credibility quickly.
