The Importance of Modeling a Complex System in Pharma
I like the phenotypic approach, which seems to take into account that lack of understanding of that black box of what biology is. And I don't think modeling that environment will actually produce that many promising results in pharma. In some ways it's not actually that important to understand the nooks and crannies of exactly how everything's working. As long as we know it works and we've got trials to show that, then, and it's safe, that's OK as well.
