What Is Legacy Technology?

I like to use technology in this way is I think of technology and a more kind of general conceptual way in the following sense. The knowledge is from the technology because that also by the way allows us to also look at some very innovative things that happen in more global south context as technology. For example there's some tremendous labor intensive waste management systems that don't use any physical embodiments that seem any kind of cutting edge but the knowledge systems and how they've developed it are quite deep and profound. And so to bring it back legacy technology I look at it is a system that has had an extensive technology kind of trajectory such that there are the debates in that place are not as front of mind are
