Earl Robert and the Normans in Durham, England

In 1069, Earl Robert and his men were getting close to Durham. Bishop Athlewina of Durham had aligned himself with the Normans. The fact that Durham was growing discontent was absolutely predictable. But for the Normans, Durham was just, well, really far north.
