Uber's Deal With Hackers Could Have Big Financial Impact
Hackers stole data on 57 million passengers and writers. Uber paid $100,000 to the hackers to delete the information but did not disclose it to those people or others. The company ultimately had to pay a settlement in the amount of $148 million because of that. We're looking at live pictures from outside of Cardiff Castle in Wales as King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla attend a reception for local charities.
