Walter Mosley: Bill Clinton has written a novel. He says it follows the standard format of detective novels today, which is like when you do the internal dialogue of the main character in parentheses and then italics. The book was kind of co-written in consultation with his wife. Mosley: It's very formulaic. There's no surprises in it. But the thing that I thought was really funny was this ritual of, okay, it's a first-time writer. And immediately there is a whole slate of famous detective writers who jump on a bandwagon.Mosley: Would you ever blurb a famous person that you liked?
