How to Choose the Right Stocks for You

The assumption is that tech stocks tend to be growth stocks. Last year, toward the end of last year, utilities became more expensive by a wider margin than ever relative to the S&P. That doesn't make them growth stocks. It just made them expensive stocks that by default were still housed in the value indexes. But they didn't really offer value because they were expensive. If you could buy a value stock that next year will be characterized as a growth stock because it's earning so much, that's great. I mean, that's what you want to look for.
