Reporting Requirements for a Military Force
Congress should be advised of who's an associated force. Unless there's some compelling national security reason to keep it secret from the public, that should be provided in public form. The mechanism for oversight of a military force applied is already here and your committee is central, central to that. I don't suggest that the committee probably would have uncovered initially that the strategy was not going to work.
