Is There Something New About the Nigerian Email Scams?

We've gone over to the romance scams, and so it totally make sense how you can fold quiripto into that. For these investings, for these investing scams, is there any new tack that they're trying? Or is it really just the same old stuff if you just swap out the word nigerian provencs with crypto or investing or something? Is there something new that's being brought to the table here, as just a old school scam with e new currency?
