Victoria Rovolo, a 44 year old former manager of a collections agency, was more interested in salvaging her life than exacting any sort of revenge. She pestered prosecutors for information about Ryan Cushing's life and how he was raised before offering him a plea deal. He tearfully made his way to where Rovolo sat in the courtroom and tearfully whispered an apology. The magnitude of that atonement is beyond our ability to completely understand. May God help us to be a little kinder, showing forth greater forbearance to be more forgiving.
