The House Ag Committee Passes the Crypto Market Structure Bill
The House Financial Services Committee passed the Clarity for Payment Stablecoins Act with bipartisan support. The bill has had an absolutely torturous path, starting as a bipartisan bill being negotiated between parties behind closed doors in the middle of last year. After Republicans assumed control of the House at the beginning of this year, the bill was introduced and a public draft was circulated for the first time.
