Tara Lee Cobble: In Deuteronomy 20, we meet another group of people from Gibeon. They ask Israel to enter into a protective covenant with them. The Israelites find out they've been deceived and want to destroy the Gibeonites. Joshua knows how to proceed because he listened to and believed God.
