Agamemnon and Menelaus's Story
Agamemnon and menelaus were from the great city of micene. They were sons to king atraus, he and his brother theestes, were sons of the famous king pelops. Pelops had cheated on his wife with their half-sister who enlisted them to kill him. The curse of pelaps became the curse of the house of atraus,. And when they arrived in sparta under the protection of king darius, agamemnon knew that kingdoms, wealth and power were all fleeting promises that weren't kept or riches that could be stolen. Menelaus would have helen just show how he was committed to giving up his own throne
