The Prince's Dilemma
In December 1985, Charles and Diana go to a sketch show at the Royal Opera House in London. She bursts onto the stage and performs a suggestive dance routine to Billy Joel's uptown girl. Afterward, he tells her she was undignified, too thin, and too showy. How does Diana take it? She's crushed, of course. And she's over it. If he can't be bothered to show the littlest bit of interest in her, she decides she's not going to be nice to him. A recipe for a happy marriage.
