Sally Kohn: My husband did not have a healthier upbringing. His parents got divorced when he was young, his father met a woman at a bar mitzvah and like moved him to the United States because they were living in the UK while his two sisters stayed with the mom. He would take the, you know, he'd be 13 taking a plane and then a train and then a car to go see his mom. And then she wouldn't show up there to like pick him up.
