The physical layer doesn't understand frames, so you eventually take that frame and just string it into a bunch of bits. You shove this 1000 0 0 0 0 into the physical layer, as we talked about,. If it's a Wi-Fi, we send it through radio, if it's a fiber optic, we sending it through light or electrical signal. And then eventually we'll go through the medium and then we'll reach the other physical machine.
