Is Twitter a Decentralized Social Network?
Twitter is trying to make a social media centric protocol that twitter operates on top of. Shawn: There's still some portability in all of it, and the clients still have moderation capabilities. We'll see whether elon musk still wants to do after he spends forty four billion dollars of his own cash,. But ultimately it should be a way to sort of insulate the vast reach of this social network from the decisions and whims of one cranky millionaire.
