The Importance of Love Bombing
Love bombing or the offer of instant companionship is a deceptive ploy accounting for many successful recruitment drives. Margaret Singer wrote this in 1996 and in it, there's a quote here: "This process of fainting friendship and interest in the recruit was originally associated with one of the early youth cults" I don't think those things are inherently bad or wrong to say, yeah, this is what community is about.
