The Importance of Intention in Meditation
It is important that we practice becoming mindful of intention, not only because of its karmic potential. We very often unknowingly identify with intention, we identify with volition. So a question for us in meditation is how can we practice seeing and understanding this factor of volition, of Jaituna? It is not just Buddhist philosophy. How do we actually experience intention? Can we train ourselves to see it, to be aware of it, to being mindful of it?
