As a teenager, my dream job was to be one of those sort of British posh travel writers who wandered around Eastern Europe staying with honorary consoles. I've been trying to dial it back because, yeah, it's quite self-indulgent. You can get a bit carried away and it all gets a bit sort of absurd.
