I haven't found that it makes a big difference when i've tested my gut, and i've tested it multiple times. Getting in the sunlight, exercise, some fermented food, if you want, can do it. But i don't tend to include it because it doesn't make me feel any different. And so then the thing you have to be careful of is, what is the context of the person you're dealing with? So maybeo maybe, fermented foods don't change anything for me. Maybe for some one that lives in a hyper clean environment they would be more effective. I don't think it's something you couldn't do without. Occasionally i'll drink a cambucha
