Weep Aloud - The Shots of Joy

Many of the older priests and Levites who had seen the former temple wept aloud when they saw the foundation of this temple being laid. Scholars posit a number of reasons but they seem to be united on this one. They're weeping over those who didn't live long enough to see this day orThose who didn't want it bad enough to make the trek back from Babylon to be with them at this moment. It's the sound of joy and weeping mixing together in a chorus of love loud and indistinguishable. The shots of joy that's obvious right? Of course there's joy they've waited so long for this momentbut why the weeping?
