Onboarding is successful when the user knows how to use an app in all of the ways that it can be useful for them. In a lot of apps, you're just not going to be able to learn everything in 10 minutes. Even if you are somehow magically able to learn all the features in 20 minutes, you still have these failures of imagination. It takes time and experience. I see the best continuous onboarding.
