There was a tremendous amount of apathy in France during the election. A sense that representative democracy just isn't quite working for them. There's a sense, i think, among those who lupen, she calls them the forgotten. It's a sort of feeling that the politics don't represent ordinary people as they used to. And i think that has put people off from voting and taking part.
