The Library Future

At the time, when the sort of nascent beginnings of the library future were beginning, a lot of these politicians really just dismissed it. They thought: Oh, sure, they'll have their little islands of sharing here. But this is how society works and will always work. And these little pockets of people sharing can never compete with the power of the abusive system.
