Is There a Wider Audience for Philosophy?
The state of affairs nowadays withn academic philosophy, seems to me, is that you you publish your work in a journal. By virtue of doing that, it gets read almost entirely by other philosophers. A lot of people don't like that - they think that the audience for philosophy should be far broader. So why does philosophy get singled out as something which you kow ought to be accessible to the public? And do you think that there's a case there? Yes, an interesting one.
